VANCOUVER, Wash. – Trish Gibbens from College of Idaho overtook the lead during round three to claim the individual medal and push her team to the tournament title at the Warner Pacific Invitational that concluded at Club Green Meadows in Vancouver today.
Her round of 80 (+7) gave her a three round total of 239 which pushed her ahead of day one leader Sunny Powers from Concordia, who turned in a, 84 (+11) for the day and 241 for the tournament.
College of Idaho finished with four players in the top ten including Bailey Borchers (244, 4th), Melissa Clausen (255, 6th), and Jocelyn Cracroft (257, 8th) to give the Coyotes the team crown.
Sara Molyneaux finished the 56 hole event with a score of 241 to tie her teammate Powers for 2nd place overall. Others in the top ten included Northwest Christian’s Haley Patridge (252, 5th), Mary-Grace Jenks from Concordia (256, 7th), Scotti Jo Helmick from host Warner Pacific (259, 9th), and Holly Speer from Concordia (265, 10th).
After College of Idaho’s winning team score of 992 followed Concordia (1000), Northwest Christian (1089), Warner Pacific (1107), and Corban (1139).
