Corvallis, Ore. – At 1:22 pm this afternoon, Corvallis Police officers responded to a 9-1-1 telephone call at Alpha Chi Omega sorority, 310 NW 26th St, Corvallis, for a possible death. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that a death had occurred at that location, and a death investigation was initiated. Investigators have indicated they found no signs of criminality or foul play involved in this death. It is likely the death occurred sometime over the weekend.
The identity of the deceased was withheld until after notification of the family could be confirmed. At this time, we can confirm that family notification has occurred. The deceased has been identified as:
Lauren C. Snow
Female, age 20
Corvallis, OR
At this time, the investigation has been referred to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination and determination of cause and manner of death.
