Sublimity Fire District Bond Measure
Sublimity, Ore. – The volunteers, staff and board of directors are very pleased with the election results. The fire district has always been focused on needs and not on “wants.” The result of this measure proves that the public has confidence in the district and how we utilize their tax dollars on an on-going basis. We asked to meet current and projected needs and the community supported this by passing this much needed bond measure.
We will get right to work to select a manufacturer that best matches our needs, both operationally and financially. We will strive to spend your monies wisely and get the best return on your investment. These vehicles will have an expected service life of 20 years. It will be approximately 12 to 18 months before the new fire engines arrive.
Again, the volunteers, staff and board of directors sincerely appreciate our community’s continued support and we look forward to many more years of carrying out our motto: “Volunteers Proudly Serving Our Community.”
