Albany, Ore. – At 3:44 p.m. today Jefferson Fire District was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on a corner of Santiam Bluffs Rd, Albany.
Jefferson and Albany crews working to get the patient out of the vehicle.
The driver of a small truck collided with a tractor. The tractor drove over the left side of the vehicle. The driver of the truck was trapped.
Jefferson and Albany Firefighters worked together to extricate the driver who was then flown by the Reach helicopter to a Portland Hospital with life threatening injuries. The passenger of the vehicle was transported to Salem Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the tractor was not injured. Linn County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
