LA GRANDE, Ore. –The Southern Oregon University men’s basketball team has been named the Adidas Team of the Week, the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced Sunday.
On Friday the No. 12 ranked Raiders, defeated No. 2 in the nation Eastern Oregon University 72-68. On Saturday they defeated College of Idaho 100-93 in overtime. Against the Mountaineers, junior Kyle Tedder led SOU with 17 points. Against the Yotes, Tedder had a career high 32 points hitting nine three point shots while teammate Eric Thompson also netted 32 points.
This is the second Adidas Team of the week honor for the Raiders. Both awards came after defeating a No. 2 ranked team. Southern Oregon (11-3, 4-0 CCC) owns a five game winning streak and will travel to Concordia and Warner Pacific for CCC games December 21-22.
