Toy Drive! Operation Elf Box, now in its third year was founded by Bend Oregon resident, Josh Hart, a philanthropist and singer songwriter. Salem Resident Elf, Maggie Skyler, spearheads the grassroots effort.

Operation Elf BoxOur mission is simple: To create a brighter Christmas for children less fortunate.

Benefiting children of Willamette Valley, Oregon.

Partnering with area aid oriented nonprofits, schools, churches, and the Marion County Fire Departments, Operation Elf Box receives referrals of families less fortunate. Shopping by appointment those who participate are invited to choose gifts for their children, including complete stockings, primary gift, gift wrap and bows. Shopping a “Complimentary” toy store, “Elf Shoppe”. Dignifying, uplifting and fun…that’s Operation Elf Box!

Distributing 6000 gift items last year in 2011 throughout Central Oregon, the community of Central Oregon has created a brighter Christmas for over 1500 underprivileged children. Operation Elf Box is operating a toy drive and distribution through Elf Store in Salem for the first year, in hopes to partner with families, to create a brighter Christmas for children in Willamette Valley.

Donate by placing a new unwrapped toy into an ELF BOX through DECEMBER twenty fourth. Gifts stay in the local community.

Elf Boxes are located throughout Salem. Donate new unwrapped toys/gifts at Salem Great Harvest Bread Company locations, The Hoop, TJ Maxx, Willamette University College of Law, all Marion County and Salem Fire Departments.

We exist by the generosity of those who donate new unwrapped children’s toys/gifts. Organized and staffed by volunteers in the Salem community. Consider donating a gift for a boy or girl of all ages. Children 11 to 14 years old are most often overlooked.
