Klamath County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue (SAR) personnel continued searching a forested area Monday about 8 miles north of Keno in Klamath County after a vehicle associated with a missing person was found Sunday parked abandoned on a spur road off Clover Creek Road. Oregon State Police (OSP) detectives believe the vehicle had been abandoned at that location since December 12 when a retired OSP trooper notified OSP after media began reporting about the missing man and his vehicle.

OSP Asks Public’s Help to Find Missing Man from Klamath Falls

A tip received from a retired Oregon State Police trooper after he recalled seeing a vehicle matching the description of one associated with a missing Klamath Falls, Oregon man led Oregon State Police and Klamath County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue (SAR) personnel to a forested area about 8 miles north of Keno in Klamath County where they located the man’s vehicle. The vehicle was spotted parked abandoned on a spur road off Clover Creek Road December 12, and after media began reporting about the mising man and vehicle the retired trooper recalled seeing the vehicle and notified OSP.

Linn County Deputies Search For Missing Hunters

Linn County Undersheriff Bruce Riley reports that deputies and members of their search and rescue team were called to help locate two missing hunters. The Sheriff’s Office received a call today at approximately 3:00 a.m. reporting David Ulrich, 28 years old, and Robert Paige, 25 years old, both from Albany, missing after a planned day hunt in the Sweet Home area. The two had left their home early Friday morning with the intent of returning home that evening.

Missing West Linn Teens located

Two teens that have been missing east of Molalla since late Saturday evening have been located. Bradley Nelson and Jackson Chandler, both from West Linn, were found by a Molalla resident around 1:30pm Monday afternoon. The teens were located on forest service road 6310 near the forest service road 63 junction. This area is near Hwy 224 east of Estacada. The teens set out for short hike around 5:30 Saturday evening and were lost for 44 hours. They were found wet, cold and hungry but were not injured.

Update: Search and Rescue Underway for two Missing Teens East of Molalla

Clackamas County Search and Rescue has released the names of the two missing hikers. The males are Bradley Nelson, 16 years old, and Jackson Chandler, 17 years old. Both are from West Linn and students at West Linn High School.

A joint search effort Thursday evening ended joyfully for a family when their 22-month old boy was found safe after being reported missing from a remote campground southeast of Cottage Grove in Lane County.

Missing Woodburn Man Found

Nikita Snegirev has been located. Snegirev returned to his family’s home in Woodburn, late this afternoon. He told family members that he spent time in central Oregon, and didn’t realize they were looking for him. He was in good physical condition. Snegirev’s family expresses their appreciation for the media attention given to his disappearance.

MCSO Search for Lost Hiker Near Russell Lake Ends

After six days of searching, the decision has been made to end the active search for missing hiker Ronald Ohm. Mr. Ohm went missing after being separated from his hiking party on Thursday evening, August 9th. They departed from the Breitenbush Lake campground trail head and planned to spend the weekend at Russell Lake. Ohm was last seen on the ridge above lake where he stopped to take photos of the area. He planned to join up with his hiking party later that evening, but never did.
