Lost Skier Found Submerged in Creek West of Ski Bowl Resort

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is sad to report at approximately 7:15 pm the body of a male skier believed to be the subject we have been looking for was located.  The subject was found submerged in a creek near Highway 26 west of the Ski Bowl Resort.

Mary Owen Found on Mt. Hood

Today at 10:02 am, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office’s rescue efforts were successful in locating Mary Owen.  Ms. Owen was spotted by a helicopter flown by the Oregon National Guard that joined the search this morning.  Ms. Owen was hoisted into the helicopter and due to her injuries she was taken directly to Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, OR.  Ms. Owen was alert but had frostbite and a possible fratured ankle.

OSP Seeking Vehicle & Driver Following Injury Hit & Run Crash

Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation and attempting to locate an involved hit-and-run vehicle and driver following Saturday afternoon’s injury crash at the intersection of SE 82nd Avenue and SE Causey Avenue south of Portland. The involved vehicle is believed to have been abandoned somewhere in the Clackamas area. OSP is asking for the public’s help to locate the vehicle and driver.

Statistics From Wednesday’s Multi-Agency Enforcement Effort by OSP, PPB, MCSO and CCSO

As part of the two-week statewide effort targeting texting, speeding and proper safety belt use, police officers from Portland Police Bureau (PPB), Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), and Oregon State Police (OSP) teamed together February 20th for a multi-agency joint traffic enforcement effort. Over 30 police officers focused enforcement efforts along SE 82nd Avenue, Interstate 205, and Interstate 84 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during which officers conducted over 200 traffic stops and issued 268 citations and 58 warnings. Clackamas County Interagency Task Force Busts Illegal Marijuana Operation

Yesterday afternoon, February 13th 2013, the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence in Boring, Oregon – rural Clackamas County. The search resulted in the seizure of 84 Marijuana plants, drug proceeds, two stolen guns and the arrest of Kevin Tamar Davis.

Missing West Linn Teens located

Two teens that have been missing east of Molalla since late Saturday evening have been located. Bradley Nelson and Jackson Chandler, both from West Linn, were found by a Molalla resident around 1:30pm Monday afternoon. The teens were located on forest service road 6310 near the forest service road 63 junction. This area is near Hwy 224 east of Estacada. The teens set out for short hike around 5:30 Saturday evening and were lost for 44 hours. They were found wet, cold and hungry but were not injured.
