Hendrickson was found deceased late Friday night, January 18, along Highway 6 about eighteen miles east of Tillamook. A multi-agency ongoing investigation determined she was the victim of homicidal violence and died from gunshot wounds.

Death Investigation – Investigators are Asking for the Public’s Help to Positively Identify the Victim

Oregon State Police (OSP) and Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office are still on the scene investigating the suspicious death of an unidentified adult female found late Friday night along Highway 6 about eighteen miles east of Tillamook. The highway remains closed due to the ongoing investigation that now also involves the OSP Forensic Services Division and scene reconstructionists. An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Sunday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office to assist with determining the manner and cause of death.

Drowning Death Investigation – Short Sands Beach in Oswald West State Park

Oregon State Police (OSP) is completing the investigation into the drowning death of an adult male Saturday afternoon while he surfed at Short Sands Beach within Oswald West State Park in Tillamook County. The victim’s name will be released Sunday to allow family additional time for next of kin notifications.

This follows the decision by the Tillamook County District Attorney on Thursday, September 22, 2011, to indict Officer Sothern for Felony Attempt to Elude, DUII, and two counts of Reckless Endangerment.

OSP Cites Driver After Loaded Log Truck Overturns, Damages Hebo Bar & Grill

Hebo, OR – A Tillamook-area man received minor injuries Thursday afternoon when he lost control of the log truck he was driving on Highway 101 in Hebo while negotiating a left curve, overturned and damaged the Hebo Bar & Grill. Highway 101 was restricted to one lane of travel for approximately two hours while Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers investigated.
