Today at 8:54 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two vehicle head-on crash at SW Farmington Road and Highway 219. The first deputy on scene observed one driver running from the scene and determined the other driver was deceased, there were no passengers.

Yesterday at 4:05pm, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash into two Aloha houses. This is the second time in two days a drunk driver crashed into one of these properties.

This morning at 5:55 a.m., Washington County Deputies responded to SW Farmington Road, west of SW 209th Avenue in the Community of Aloha concerning a vehicle that had reportedly crashed into a tree and was on fire.

On Saturday, February 09, 2013, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a minor traffic offense. In the course of their investigation they discovered that the three occupants of the car were in route to burglarize an occupied house. The female victim of the crime was home at the time.

Yesterday at about 9:00 pm, Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the area of SW 170th Avenue and SW Vendala Park Lane, in the community of Aloha. One man was shot in the back as he walked along SW 170th Ave. He is currently in critical condition at Emmanuel Hospital.

On December 17, at about 12:51 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies were called to a disturbance at The Shilo Inn located at 9900 SW Canyon Road, Portland, in the community of West Slope. Deputies arrived to find that a 31-year-old woman had been attacked by her estranged husband, 34-year-old Aaron Bryce Griffin.

Today at about 2:30 p.m., a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a vehicle at SW Canyon Road and SW Walker Road In the West Slope area. The vehicle was driven by 29-year-old Leonel Zamora Jr., the deputy had been at Mr. Zamora’s residence earlier in his shift and knew his license was criminally suspended.

PORTLAND, Ore. – More than 1,100 cyclists took to the streets of Washington County this morning and participated in the 21st Annual Tour de Cure cycling event raising nearly $400,000 for diabetes education, research and advocacy. Tour de Cure is an event organized by the American Diabetes Association and started at Hillsboro Stadium in Hillsboro, Ore.

This morning at 1:22am, Washington County Deputies responded to a call of a SUV into an apartment building on SW Barnes Road. Upon arrival, deputies find that the driver of the SUV crashed through the side of the apartment and trapped the sleeping homeowner.
